 Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, also known as Duda Melzer, is the founder and the current chief executive officer of EB Capital. EB Capital is an investment company focused on long-term equity growth in the intermediary market. Melzer is also the founder of e.Bricks Ventures, which is one of the leading venture capital companies in Brazil.

Duda Melzer is also known for his involvement as a Chairman of the RBS Group, which is currently one of the biggest media corporations in the country. RBS Group consists of numerous television stations and radio channels that operate all around Brazil. Melzer handled the position of Executive Vice President from 2010 to 2012 and President from 2012 to 2015 before being the Chairman in 2016. He is also one of the directors of Mercosul Biennial. In addition, he participates in events such as Google’s Zeitgeist and Allen & Co.’s Sun Valley.

Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer got his MBA from Harvard University while he got his bachelor’s degree from PUC do Rio Grande do Sul or PUCRS. He started his career in the US to gain experience before handling the family company. One of his earliest ventures was being a senior financial analyst at Delphi organization. Melzer was also the director-general of BoxTop Media, which is a non-traditional media company.

This list recognizes the top members of the new generations of business families around the world who serves as a good example of society. Eduardo is the grandson of Mauricio Sirotsky Sobrinho, who is the founder of Grupo RBS. He was listed by the Institute for two times, during 2015 and 2017 list.

One of Melzer’s greatest influence is Professor John A Davis, a specialist in the family business and a known professor at Harvard. Davis is one of the most renowned experts in his area. In addition, Melzer also borrows some concept from the world’s greatest thinkers when it comes to business: Ram Charan and Jim Collins. Melzer believes that good governance is one of the things that a company need to survive.
