Fabletics-Bringing Active Lifestyles to Everyone

Fabletics has become a household name and the go-to for active wear for most people. It has grown to be worth $250 million in just three short years and that has been no small feat considering they have gone up against Amazon which controls about 20% of the fashion market.

Fabletics didn’t just happen overnight, however and they choses to grow gradually. Instead of taking the pop up method that most new companies use, they got to really know their market and mingles with the local communities in order to get to know their customer base better. That approach led to them having 30-50% of their in-store retail customers already being members and another 25% becoming members. They also were able to avoid getting “killed” by showrooming, where customers browse offline and then buy their products cheaper elsewhere.

Kate Hudson, founder of Fabletics believes that it is important to get creative with advertising and she wants to encourage people to get more active. She recently expanded her clothing sizes to span from XXS to 3X to expand her customer base and to help encourage people from every shape and size to live a more healthy lifestyle.

Hudson believes that it is important to live a live that you are passionate about so that you can truly become fearless and conquer your goals. She gets a lot of inspiration from her mom, Goldie Hawn, and she is part of the Hawn foundation, which encourages mindfulness in children.

Hudson stays on top of her business and checks her sales every week and pulls whatever isn’t selling to make room for a better selling piece of apparel. There is no set of guidelines that guarantees what will be a good seller so she relies on the information that she gathers from the Lifestyle Quizzes that new members take.

Fabletics has over 21 million followers on Twitter and it has also opened 18 retail stores. Fabletics has gotten 1.2 million members monthly in eight different countries and they are growing by about 35% every year in sales. Fabletics has grown successful for many reasons and it continues to grow because it offers a great product at a great price and is run by people who care and want to encourage healthy living. Even though there are competitors, they do not offer the unique and personalized service that Fabletics does and they aren’t as unique.

Sujit Choudhry and A Long Road Before Him

We live in a world with areas of chaos.

This chaos is the result of many groups in separation. It disables the world from uniting on values that we as a people agree on. When this is the dysfunctional order of the planet, only one thing is left to do. The world must embrace the work of transition. Transition, however, is only forwarded by its professionals.

Among those professionals is none other than Sujit Choudhry.

He now leads the world in constitutional transition. For an extensive reading about Sujit, check this.  But you might be at a stand-still regarding what that means, so we’ll explain it for you. The work forwarded that enables a nation to reflect on itself and to then visualize solutions is the specific work of constitutional transition.

It occurs through the guiding factors called comparative constitutional law. Which takes in account the formation, existence and revision of constitutions around the globe.

Global improvement is, therefore, a task of acquiring knowledge about how other governments have succeeded and how new or standing nations can use that information.

The details of this process are something that only professionals like Mr. Sujit can implement and to great effect. Yet, even with such a phenomenal past history, Sujit Choudhry has a long road before him. But this isn’t a road unfamiliar to Sujit. Though the objective is clearly a challenge, we expect it to be one Sujit can handle entirely.  For blog reading and the latest news from Sujit, visit his linkedin.com page.

The Importance Of Transition

The best we can do as a nation, a people and an entire planet is in supporting the cause of transition. Don’t let the technical jargon confuse you regarding what this really is. Transition is simply the work done to improve society, but transition itself takes into account the actual formal process of improvement.

This is one that doesn’t rely on protest or violence.

The power of comparative study is leveraged on making an analysis and then presenting your findings. These findings, of course, must relate to a clear solution that can be forwarded by the people given the presentation to. When transition is this basic and incorruptible, it’s no wonder Sujit Choudhry has been so effective all these years.  For a recently written article by Sujit, click on activistpost.com and read him tackling a current global issue.

Professor Choudhry identified a need for this organization as he was advising developing countries in constitution building and he found that many significant legal and policy questions had no clear or up-to-date answers. Sujit Choudhry believes that his body of work is not only relevant in emerging countries; as Americans cease to define themselves as exceptional to other countries and they recognize that they are not immune to the legal and political challenges to democratic institutions, they will engage in more comparative thinking in facing the reality of these challenges. He eschews the notion that the truth in these areas is limited to the way Americans perceive it.

Professor Choudhry emphasized how he enjoys considering other people’s points of view, especially those that are “on the ground” in a particular political environments. He attributes his professional success, to a large extent, to the fact that he has navigated new legal and political environments his entire life. His immigrant background has taught him to appreciate varying perspectives and situations and the need to approach public policy issues from multiple angles.
